The direct-debit payment amount can't be greater than the balance due, and can't exceed $99,999,999.99.

FPYMT-030-02: 'PaymentAmt' in the IRS Payment Record [IRSPayment] must not be greater than 'BalanceDueAmt' in Form 2290, but cannot be greater than 99999999.99.

How to fix FPYMT-030-02

  1. Open the return and go to the Payment method step.
  2. Review the routing number, account number, and account type.
  3. Correct any field the IRS flagged.
  4. Return to this filing, review it, and submit again.
